At Liscombe Park we offer a range of different options to suit you and your horse. Whichever livery option you choose our team of experienced and knowledgeable staff will be on hand to care for your horse.

We pride ourselves on treating each horse as our own and care for their individual needs.

We have exceptional riding facilities which includes 3 arenas, miles of off-road hacking, a small cross-country course and grass jumping areas.

We have instructors on-site and available to give lessons every weekday, evenings and weekends. Liveries are given generous discount on weekday group lessons. We also offer a weekday schooling service.

Liveries also benefit from a weekly vet clinic from Wendover Heights Vets with no call out fee and the opportunity for a monthly use of weighbridge. As well as a weekly visit from our yard farrier Charlie Harris. We also have an on-site equine massage therapist Grace at Aches and Neighs.

As we have a thriving riding school onsite so we can offer working livery packages. This is perfect for horses who require a little bit extra exercise than their owners can give. We have a large number of horses on our riding school license which means that no horses are overworked. We can be flexible and work around you and your horses’ schedule. We pride ourselves on making sure that if the horse is used on the riding school it will only be used to enhance your horses schooling.

Stabled Livery

Our livery stable yard compromises 30 loose boxes, a hot washroom with solarium, secure tack rooms, rug room and a feed room. Stables are bright and spacious with large automatic water feeders and full rubber matting.

Working (Bronze) £600.00 pcm

Horses will be used for lessons on the riding school with our qualified instructors. Horses are stabled through the night through the winter, we endeavour to try to give them some turnout every day, except in extreme conditions. Your horse will be caught in, turned out, rug changed if required, mucked out, hay nets filled, and feeds made. Included in this package is 1 bale of shavings a week or ample straw and high-quality feed. Throughout the summer months we try to make use of our vast fields and turn out 24/7.

Non-working (Silver) £700.00 pcm

Horses kept on the silver livery package receive all the benefits of the bronze package above but aren’t used on the riding school. Schooling is not included in this package but is available on either an ad-hoc or regular basis at cost.

Grass Livery

Working £250.00 pcm

Non-working £300.00 pcm

For horses who prefer to be out in the field all year round we offer grass livery. You can still choose to have your horse on working or non-working livery.

Grass liveried horses will be part of a large herd of mares or geldings. All our fields are substantial and well maintained. When the nutrition levels naturally drop in the winter months, we supplement the fields with vast amounts of hay.

Arenas

Stabled liveries are able to ride in both outdoor arenas working around the lessons on the riding school. Grass liveries can ride in the outdoor arena on the riding school yard. The indoor arena is available to hire for all liveries, working around lessons. There is always an arena available at any given time, if there is a lesson in the arena you are usually permitted to ride in then you are allowed to ride indoors/ or another outdoor arena.
