During the school holidays we hold activities aimed at children from 4 to 15 years old.

Spaces are limited for all holiday activities, book your place early to avoid disapointment.

Our activities are generally outside based. Please ensure that you dress your child appropriately for the weather. 

February Half Term Activities

Tuesday 18th February

Games Pony Day                        10.30am-3pm                            £50.00

This activity is aimed at children of all levels, including lead rein. The children are able to catch the ponies in from the field*, groom and put on their saddles and bridles. They will join in a 45 group session of mounted games. Riders will be seperated into groups suitable for their riding ability. A hot lunch, snacks and drinks are also provided, please make us aware of any food allergies so that they can be catered for.  

Wednesday 19th February 

Mini Kids Morning                   10am-12pm                                £30.00

This activity is ideal for lead rein riders. The children will groom and feed treats to their favourite ponies. They will go for a ride around the fields or take part in a group lesson in the indoor arena (weather dependant).

Thursday 20th February

Own a Pony Day          10.30-3pm                            £50.00

This activity is based around showing the riders how to care for their pony. They will be taught how to muck out, tack up (put on their bridles and saddles), lead the ponies, groom and pick out feet etc. They will also enjoy a group riding session. Riders will be seperated into groups suitable for their riding ability. A hot lunch, snacks and drinks are provided, please make us aware of any food allergies so that they can be catered for. 

Easter Holiday Activities

Mini Kids Easter Egg Hunt

Monday 6th April                              10am-12pm                                        £30.00

This activity is aimed at children who are on the lead rein. We will groom and feed the ponies then put on their bridles and saddles and take them for a walk and trot around the field. We will stop the ponies in a field and dismount, find an Easter egg and then remount and ride back to the stables.

Gymkhana and Games Day

Wednesday 8th April                      10am-4pm                                       £60.00

Your child will have lots of fun on games and gymkhana day! The children will catch the ponies from the field and get them ready by grooming them and plaiting them. They will take part in mounted games and mini races. This activity is suitable for all abilities and ages (Over 4 years).

Competition Day

Thursday 9th April                 12pm-2pm                                                 £30.00          

Children must be able to ride at canter unassisted to join in this activity. They will groom and plait their allocated pony. Then tack them up and warm up as a group. They will then ride over a course of poles or small jumps. Every rider receives a rosette on completion.

Own a Pony Week

Tuesday 14th – Friday 17th April      10am-4pm daily                                 £200.00

This is the ultimate activity for your pony obsessed child! They will spend four fun-filled days learning all aspects of horse care and spending time with their favourite ponies. We will bath the ponies*, play games and ride bareback. They will ride on at least one group lesson per day and enjoy riding outside as much as possible. Riders will be split into groups according to their ability. This activity is suitable for all riders of different abilities including lead rein.

Competition Pony Week

Wednesday 15th – Saturday 18th April          10am-4pm daily                                 £250.00

This activity is aimed at experienced riders who would love to take part in a show. We will work on teaching the children all aspects of what’s involved with competing. The ridden sessions will work towards a ridden competition on the last day, which family members are invited to come and watch. 

*Activities are weather dependant, if there is an activity which is not suitable due to weather conditions then we will substitute it with another fun activity.
